Thank you for choosing Seaside Trains to sell your collection of trains. This is certainly a difficult decision and I will do my best to get the most for your collection.

Here is our process:

• When I have your collection in my office, I will inventory items completely and fax or e-mail you a complete copy of items.
• I will make any necessary cleaning or repairs (extra fees may apply) -- to ensure we get the maximum sales price for your trains.
• I will group like items together to maximize sale of these items.
• I will take digital photos of your items and write up a description of your items, also answer any question buyers may have about items.
• I ship worldwide so your items will have a world audiance and help get a maximum price.
• Best of all, you can sit back and watch the bidding.

Options for listing your items:

• Fixed price auction: There is a set price to buy an item. Posting is usually for 30 days or when someone purchases item.
• Auction format: This format is most common listing. There is a starting price and highest bidder at a determined date wins item. If you are looking for a minimum price for an item, this will be the starting place. Once sale is complete, we cannot go back if you do not get enough for item. So please let me know your minimum amount you would like to get for items.
• Lenght of Time: 7 Days is the usually format, but 1, 3 5, 7 and 14 days are all options.
• Fees: I do not charge upfront listing fees. Once your items sell, I will deduct my commission, eBay fees and PayPal fees before sending you a check for the balance. EBay and PayPal fees are usually 8% and the buyer pays for shipping costs. I will send you a complete copy of all charges.

Options for Cleaning & Servicing:

• Basic Listing: commission is 20%; this listing includes a quick cleaning and organization of items to make them look nice.
• Repairs and Major Cleaning: commission is 30 or 40% depending on repairs and needed cleaning. I will advise you and we will work this out before I even take items. Only some items in your collection my fall under this section.

Terms & Conditions:

• I have a feedback rating on eBay of over 380 @ 99% positive feedback and am a member of Square Trade, so bidders will bid with confidence getting us the highest price for your collection.

• I will do my best to sell your items, but they are not guarantee to sell. Sometimes items do not sell because the starting price is too high or the item is not in demand. If items do not sell first time, we can review relisting items in which case a relisting fee may occur.

• I do offer buyers of items 7 day money back refund for items purchased.

• If a buyer returns an item, we will have to talk about relisting items. Re-listing of unsold items will cost $10.00. If you do not want to try and resell items they will be returned to you.

• If repairs and cleaning have been made to items a cost of $15 may be charged.

• The complete turn-around time from the items being listed to you receiving your payment is generally 21 days, but can be as long as 30 days in some cases. Please note that winning bidders who delay in paying for your item will cause delays in sending out your check. In addition, a winning bidder may never pay for your item. In this case, I will relist the original auction.

• If your decide to stop the listing before it ends, there will be a fee of $30.00 to cover the costs of my time, photographing and listing of items.

• All unsold items will be returned to you.
